Year 3 carried on learning about the different trees in our woods this afternoon. We can recognise oak, sycamore and alder. We have learnt about their different seeds and how the seeds are dispersed. Year 1 SM blew my socks off this afternoon! Last week we were learning about sycamore and oak trees. I was so imposed with what they remembered from last week and how they used that knowledge in their play and learning this afternoon.
Some children came to the woods from our day care this morning. We had lots of fun finding worms. They felt really cold and were very wriggly. We finished off with some marshmallows at the campfire.
