F1 were getting ready for a party until they found something that they thought belonged to the three bears. Some of the children made a party for the bears.
Cirp were exploring this morning, they were trying to find things thay live in our woods. We found some nutshells and feathers amd thought these were clues that squirrels and birds come to the woods. They also found some minibeasts. Which bugs do you think they found?

This morning F2LP were given a special job. We were sent a letter to tell us that Prince Charming was planning to hold a ball, unfortunately everyone who works at the palace was poorly and so we were asked to help out.
We talked about exolorers this afternoon and discussed what learning muscles we thought good explorers would stretch. We thought of lots, can you think of any? Before the holidays we had a great time with Y5 and some of our Rising Stars, the older children set up an egg hunt and then helped the little ones to find them.
Not only is whittling fun it also has some great benefits. It is awesome to see the children’s confidence grow as they become more skilled with the knife. Lots of groups and activities in the woods today, one of the things I have been seeing lots of today was children being kind and looking out for each other. I love seeing how the children share and help each other when they are playing.
F2LP love sticks, almost as much as Stanley and Gilly! I was amazed at how many different things the children found to do with sticks this morning.
