A sticky, collaborative day

Posted by on April 4, 2017

F2LP love sticks, almost as much as Stanley and Gilly! I was amazed at how many different things the children found to do with sticks this morning. Some of them made shapes and letters with sticks, some children collected a bucketful of sticks, we had magic wands, flags, crocodile catchers and even dinosaur bones!

Year 4 started the afternoon playing some games, we were stretching our collaboration muscles to start with. Our second game helped us to see how important it is to listen carefully and manage our distractions. After the games the children went into the woods and stretched their noticing muscles to make sound maps of the different things they could hear.
