Stone Age activities

This afternoon year 3 AB went back to the Stone Age and tried some different activities. They created some cave paintings using charcoal and sandpaper and extracted dye from leaves. They even tried to start a fire using sticks.  0

Amazing learners

Last week a group from year 6 celebrated finishing their SATs in the woods. They enjoyed relaxing! Oakley persevered to safely build a small fire.  Our year 5 / day care group made bird feeders and went on a Gruffalo hunt. 0

Habitats and explorers

Y2 SJ had a go at the collaboration hoop challenge. They struggled at first to get the hoop moving around the circle. Once they started to share ideas of how to move the hoop on they quickly managed to complete the task. After this we went in to the woods to explore woodland habitats.  0
